Terry Home’s Show and Shine brings out classic collections

A large collection of classic cars glimmered Sunday at Terry Home, Inc.’s 19th annual Show and Shine at the Auburn Eagles, 702 M. Street SE, Auburn.

The car, truck and motorcycle show benefited Terry Home, a Pacific-based, nonprofit organization that helps adults with traumatic brain injuries recover to independent living.

The day included music, door prizes, raffle and T-shirts. The Auburn Eagles provide breakfast. Terry Home sold lunch.

Terry Home supports 10 individuals at one time. Since it opened in 1996, Terry Home has graduated 10 survivors into more independent living. A second home is planned in Auburn, which will hold 12 residents. Four of the bedrooms will be reserved for veterans returning with traumatic brain injuries.
