Terry Home’s Show and Shine is May 22 at Auburn Eagles

Terry Home, Inc. presents its 19th annual Show and Shine from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at the Auburn Eagles, 702 M. Street SE, Auburn.

The car, truck and motorcycle show will benefit Terry Home, a Pacific-based, nonprofit organization that helps adults with traumatic brain injuries recover to independent living.

Registration is from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The fee is $15 pre-registered; $20 day of the show. Goody bags will go to the first 150 registered.

There will be music, door prizes, raffle and T-shirts. The Auburn Eagles will provide breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Terry Home will be selling ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and other menu items from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Terry Home supports 10 individuals at one time. Since it opened in 1996, Terry Home has graduated 10 survivors into more independent living. A second home is planned in Auburn, which will hold 12 residents. Four of the bedrooms will be reserved for veterans returning with traumatic brain injuries.
