Vehicle fire spreads to mobile home, but firefighters put it out

A fire from a parked truck spread to a mobile home on Lea Hill Friday before firefighters quickly put it out.

A fire from a parked truck spread to a mobile home on Lea Hill Friday before firefighters quickly put it out.

The Valley Regional Fire Authority and Kent Regional Fire Authority – dispatched to the 31100 block of 116 Avenue SE – discovered a fully involved truck fire next to a mobile home with the fire migrating to the side of the structure and into two windows of the home.

The fire was quickly extinguished.

They mobile home was already evacuated.

There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.

The fire temporally displaced five individuals who will be staying with friends.

Investigators are on scene determining the fire’s cause and origin.
