Vehicles prowled, businesses burgled | Auburn police blotter

The following information is taken from the Auburn Police Department blotter from Sept. 2-8. All told there were 19 assaults, 10 burglaries and 17 vehicle thefts reported in the blotter.

Sept. 2

Arson: An arson was reported on the 200 block of Auburn Way South at 6:50 a.m.

Stolen vehicle: A man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle on 27th Place Southeast at 11:34 a.m.

Assault: A woman was assaulted with a knife on the 600 block of East Main Street at 4:10 p.m.

Sept. 3

Threatening: A man threatened another man with a gun on the 800 block of C Street Northwest at 10:45 a.m.

Vehicle theft: A man reported that his Cadillac Escalade was stolen from the Outlet Collection mall parking lot while he was shopping between 6-8 p.m.

Assault: A woman was arrested for domestic violence assault on 50th Street Southeast at 12:30 p.m.

Sept. 4

Burglary: A residential burglary was reported at J Street Southeast at 11:37 a.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for assaulting an 8-year-old child on Lindsay Avenue Southeast at 10:15 p.m.

Possession of stolen vehicle: A man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle on Auburn Way North at 10:20 p.m.

Sept. 5

Disorderly conduct: A female was arrested for disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of Auburn Way North at 1:19 p.m.

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI on the 31900 block of 104th Avenue Southeast at 12:37 a.m.

Vehicle theft: A motorcycle was reported stolen from the 1200 block of A Street Northeast at 4:30 p.m.

Sept. 6

Assault: A man was arrested for felony assault in the 12200 block of Southeast 316th Street at 11:43 a.m.

Burglary: A man burgled a local business, prowled several vehicles behind a fenced area and loaded stolen goods into his car and used his car to ram the gate open between 4-6:30 a.m.

Harassment: A man was arrested for harassment and malicious mischief on 1st Street Northeast at 9:12 p.m.

Sept. 7

Fraud: Two fake $100 bills were used to purchase lottery tickets at 3702 Auburn Way North at 5 a.m.

Suspicious person: A suspicious person was investigated on I Street Northeast at 3:04 p.m.

Harassment: A man pointed a gun at a woman on the 1500 block of Auburn Way North at 9:15 p.m.

Sept. 8

Burglary tools: A man was arrested for possession of burglary tools on A Street Southeast at 11:15 p.m.

Vehicle theft: A vehicle was reported stolen from the Outlet Collection parking lot at 9:57 p.m.

Stolen gun: A man was arrested for possession of a stolen gun and unlawful possession of a gun on 10th Street Northeast at 6:43 p.m.
