Victim sought from shooting on Interstate 405

The Washington State Patrol is looking for the victim(s) of a shooting that occurred on Dec. 11 just before 3 a.m. on northbound Interstate 405, south of State Route 167.

The Washington State Patrol is looking for the victim(s) of a shooting that occurred on Dec. 11 just before 3 a.m. on northbound Interstate 405, south of State Route 167.

A trooper observed two vehicles, a blue Dodge Neon and a mid-to-late-’80s sedan, driving in an aggressive manner on northbound Interstate 405. The driver of the Neon, Jacob Stone, a 25-year-old Maple Valley man, shot several times at the unidentified sedan. The trooper became involved in a pursuit with the Neon and observed the driver throw the gun out the window. The gun was recovered by troopers.

The trooper continued to pursue the Neon, but the driver eventually lost control on a side street in Kent and fled on foot. An attempt to locate him with a track dog was unsuccessful.

Detectives located Stone via telephone and he turned himself in on Dec. 16 and was booked into King County Jail.
