The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 198 requests for service between March 31 and April 6, among which were the following:

March 31

Aid call: 2:47 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responded to assist an elderly woman. Crews treated the patient on the scene. A private ambulance transported the woman to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

April 1

Aid call: 4:50 p.m. (Algona). Firefighters and King County Medics helped an elderly unconscious woman. The patient was treated at the scene, and King County Medics along with a VRFA firefighter assisting with ventilations transported her to MAMC.

April 2

Motorcycle accident: 6:12 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a motorcyclist down on southbound state Route 167 over Highway 18. Firefighters and King County Medics treated the rider, then transported the patient to Valley Medical Center.

April 3

Aid call: 2:53 p.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters assisted a woman with numbness on the left side of her body. She was evaluated, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 4

Aid call: 1:58 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped an elderly woman who had a laceration on her forehead from a fall. Firefighters treated the patient, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 5

Stabbing: 10:33 p.m. (Auburn). VRFA firefighters and King County Medics responded to the 2300 block of B Street Northwest for an assault. Firefighters observed two individuals who had been in an altercation with a knife. One victim was in serious condition and was treated at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center by Medics. The second victim suffered superficial wounds and was transported to MAMC by private ambulance.

April 6

Automatic fire alarm: 1:30 p.m. (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm at the 12400 block of 286th Place. Crews found that a child had accidentally pulled an alarm. The alarm was reset and services continued.
