April 1

Vandalism: 8:38 a.m., 600 block of 6th Street Northeast. Somebody smashed out a rear window on a vacant residence.

Trespassing: 10:57 a.m., 3710 Lemon Tree Lane SE. A clean and sober house kicked out a woman for bad behavior undisclosed.

Trespassing: 2:27 p.m., 502 16th St. NE. For bad behavior undisclosed, a woman not only got the boot but the 10-year-stay-away from Auburn Plaza Dental and its parking lot.

Shoplifting: 4 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Loss preventions staff at Fred Meyer held a man for police after he tried to steal $198 worth of food.

April 3

Burglary: Overnight, 1825 K St. SE. Somebody vandalized the vending machine in the Olympic Middle School staff lounge.

Theft: 9 p.m., 600 block of 2nd Street Northwest. Somebody stole a UPS package with a watch inside off a woman’s front porch sometime in March.

April 4

Lost and not found: 12:54 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman dropped a wallet inside the Muckleshoot Casino. It was picked up by an unknown man who swiftly left the casino with more than $600 in cash.

Weapons offense, disorderly conduct: 2:41 p.m., 100 block of Second Street Southeast. A woman called 911 to report that a man was at the Transit Station, waving a knife and yelling. The man was arrested a short time later at a nearby business.

April 5

First the headlight, then the pot: 12:16 a.m., 1300 69th St. SE. A man was stopped for a headlight violation, which led to the seizure of marijuana from the vehicle.

Don’t blame the airline: April 5: 7:42 a.m., 1909 28th St. SE. Hawaii-bound Auburnites left their luggage on the front porch waiting for a taxi. The luggage was intercepted by unknown thieves.

Car gone: 10:23 a.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th St. A woman reported her vehicle stolen.

Trespass: 1 p.m., 2117 Auburn Way S. A man was arrested for refusing to leave Muckleshoot Bingo, where he had been previously barred.

April 6

Theft: 3:28 p.m., 4810 D St. NW. Three tractor trailer trucks were broken into. Missing were tools and gas. There are no suspects.

Shoplifting: 10:20 p.m., 1600 block of A Street Southeast. A man and woman stole items from a local convenience store.

April 7

Assault with a knife: 10:16 p.m., 3700 block of H Street Northeast. A man was stabbed, then refused to cooperate with police. There is no suspect information.

April 8

Gas guzzler: 1:29 a.m., 100 block of 16th Street Northwest. A woman was arrested after she was observed siphoning gas from a vehicle by an Auburn police officer.
