June 25

Car fire: 8:20 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters hustling to a reported car fire on Southbound Highway 167 found a vehicle that had left the roadway and entered the center median, but no fire and no injuries. The Washington State Patrol investigated.

June 26

Aid call: 11:30 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters examined and treated a woman suffering from a migraine headache and a private ambulance sped her off to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

Aid call: 7:20 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics helped a teenage boy who’d suffered facial injuries from fireworks and firefighters hustled him off to Harborview Medical Center.

Aid call: 3:50 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics helped a man who had lost consciousness and a private ambulance got him to ARMC.

June 29

Illegal burn: 7:38 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters called to an illegal burn complaint talked with the homeowner and he snuffed out his cooking fire.

Vehicle accident: 7:02 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a report of a cargo truck that had rolled over and spilled paint found the driver uninjured but the truck on its side and 20 gallons of paint on the ground. Firefighters took efforts to prevent further environmental damage and contacted the Department of Ecology to oversee cleanup efforts.

Aid call: 4:14 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters responded to a middle-aged man complaining that he could not move his hands or sit up. Firefighters evaluated and treated the man, and a private ambulance transported him in stable condition to ARMC.
