The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 230 calls for service between May 23 and June 3, among them the following:

May 28

Fall: 11:15 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics treated a toddler who had fallen from a second-story window, and medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for further evaluation.

May 29

Aid Call: 1:35 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters examined a man who was complaining of chest pain and numbness, and then transported him to to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

May 30

Aid Call: 7:46 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated and treated a young man who’d sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC for further evaluation and treatment.

May 31

Aid Call: 3:03 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters treated a middle-aged man with low blood sugar, and he remained at home with family.

June 1

Aid Call: 5:15 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to a middle-aged man who was complaining of palpitations and nausea, King County Medics evaluated him, and a private ambulance transported to St. Francis Hospital.

June 2

Brush Fire: 3:28 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters snuffed a brush fire that had been spreading to nearby trees, but that’s as far as it got.

June 3

Commercial Fire: 9:24 a.m., (Kent). Firefighters helped the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority drown an apartment fire. confining it to a single unit.
