May 4

Aid call: 10:56 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County paramedics responded to LA Fitness at The Outlet Collection, where they found a man on the floor and staff performing CPR on him and using a public access defibrillator. Firefighters evaluated the man and finding that he had a pulse but was struggling to breathe, stabilized him before paramedics transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

May 5

Aid call: 2:30 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters finished evaluating a woman who was complaining of possible diabetic issues, and a private ambulance hurried her off to to MAMC.

May 6

Aid call: 12 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated a middle-aged woman in a wheel chair who had injured her foot, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

May 7

Hazardous material: 11:14 a.m., (south Auburn). Firefighters responding to a report of a propane tank abandoned next to a school found the tank empty, so no threat. Firefighters then located the rightful owner of the tank and returned it.

Aid call: 10:30 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters treated a woman with minor injuries sustained after a fall in front of Pacific City Hall and then left her with after-care instructions.

Natural gas leak: 2:16 p.m., (Lea Hill). Having responded to a natural gas leak caused by a homeowner using heavy equipment to dig a drain near a street, firefighters isolated the area until Puget Sound Energy arrived to fix the broken pipe.

May 10

Aid call: 2:18 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medic One treated a man left unconscious and unresponsive by a drug overdose, and VRFA personnel transported him to MAMC.
