Between Sept. 11 and 15, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 250 calls for service, among them the following:
Sept. 11
Shooting: 1:32 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to the parking lot of Amberview Apartments where they treated a young man for a single gunshot wound to his lower leg. A VRFA aid car transported the man to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).
Aid call: 9:27 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters treated a senior citizen who had fallen to a sidewalk, and a private ambulance took her to MAMC for further treatment.
Sept. 12
Motor vehicle accident: 7:19 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated for minor injuries an older man and an infant who’d been involved in a two-vehicle accident on Riverwalk Drive Southeast, and released them.
Sept. 13
Aid call: 11:17 a.m.,(Auburn). Firefighters assessed a senior citizen who’d been complaining of abdominal pain, and then transported her to MAMC for further treatment and evaluation.
Sept. 14
Shooting: 1:25 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics called to the report of a shooting victim treated a teenager for multiple gunshot wounds and transported him to Harborview Medical Center.
Sept. 15
Aid call:12:59 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a man who was complaining of stroke-like symptoms, and a private ambulance motored him to Good Samaritan Hospital for further evaluation.
Sept. 16
Aid call: 4:30 p.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics stabilized a young woman who had overdosed on unknown narcotics, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC for further treatment.
