Dec. 20

Aid call: 12:13 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to an unconscious and unresponsive middle-aged woman arrived to find the woman’s friend performing CPR. Firefighters and King County paramedics continued CPR but could not save the woman, who died at the scene. Firefighters helped Auburn police with family members at the scene and out of state.

Dec. 21

Aid call: 7:55 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped five people involved in a single-car accident. One passenger required treatment, so a private ambulance transported him or her to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

Dec. 22

Aid call: 3:22 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters responded to an older man who had passed out. King County Medics evaluated the man and then a private ambulance transported him to ARMC.

Dec. 23

Aid call: 12:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a middle-aged woman who had cut her wrists. Firefighters treated the woman and transported her to ARMC.

Dec. 24

Aid call: 3:15 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a report of a woman who was having trouble breathing after she cleaned a shower with bleach and soap. The woman’s symptoms subsided with time, and an exam showed no noted respiratory deficiencies. The woman declined transport and decided to stay at home.

Dec. 25

Aid call: 11:50 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a female who had fallen in a parking lot while carrying a child into her grandparent’s home, sustaining an obvious fracture to her lower right leg. Firefighters stabilized her, and a private ambulance transported her to ARMC.

Dec. 26

Aid call: 11:56 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a middle-aged man suffering a seizure began treatment and asked King County Medics to evaluate the man. A private car transported him to a local hospital for evaluation.
