April 25

Aid call: 5 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters, King County Medic One and Auburn Police responded to a man who had overdosed on prescription drugs. Medics treated and transported the man to Auburn Regional Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.

April 26

Aid call: 5:21 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters helped a boy suffering an uncontrollable nose bleed, evaluated him and determined that he was medically stable, then his mother transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.

April 27

Accident: 8:30 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped one person injured in a three-car motor vehicle accident on State Route 167 and then transported him to ARMC.

April 28

Aid call: 5:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped an unresponsive female, determined she was experiencing symptoms associated with low blood sugar, stabilized her blood sugar and left her at home with relatives.

April 29

Service call: 7:26 a.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters sent to check out a report of wires down on Howard Road discovered that the wire was a telephone cable line that was hanging down without endangering anybody. They left the cable in place off the roadway.

Aid call: 4:06 p.m., (Algona. Firefighters responded to an Algona neighborhood to help a woman who was struggling to breathe. Firefighters evaluated the woman and then a private ambulance transported her in stable condition to ARMC.

April 30

Car vs. bicyclist: 4:22 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics responded to a child who had ridden his bike into the street, where he was struck by a moving vehicle and sustained head injuries. The boy was stabilized with a back board and c-collar before a private ambulance transported him to ARMC.

May 1

Aid call: 6:12 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a woman with leg and back pain and evaluated her before a private ambulance transported her to ARMC for further evaluation and treatment.
