Firefighters from the Valley Regional Fire Authority and the City of Kent responded at 4:32 a.m. today to a reported condominium fire in the 1800 block of M Street Northeast.

Arriving units found a chimney chase fire that had extended to the exterior of the structure. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.

A primary search confirmed that all occupants of the affected building had been evacuated.

There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Fire personnel were on the scene for the remainder of the morning. Fire investigators were on scene, but no fire cause or damage estimate had been determined.
