The City of Auburn is accepting coats during its winter drive, now through Friday.

The public can drop off coats, new or gently used, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday at:

• Auburn City Hall Annex, second floor, Community Services Front Desk (across the street from City Hall) 21 E. Main St.

• Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave., Puyallup.

Powers Funeral Home and Price-Helton Funeral Homes are working with the City on the drive.

Donations will be hand delivered in February to: Communities in Schools; The Genesis Project; the Auburn Food Bank; and the Tacoma Rescue Mission.
