Young adults steal cow mascot, blow it up | Auburn police blotter

The following information is taken from the Auburn Police Department daily blotter from June 27 to July 5, 2022. All told there were 19 assaults, 28 vehicle thefts and 16 burglaries recorded between these dates.

June 27

Burglary: A business on B Street Northwest was burglarized and a vehicle was stolen from the parking lot between midnight and 6 a.m.

Drugs: Auburn police arrested multiple people for drugs and trespassing on the 500 block of Auburn Way South at 8:30 a.m.

Assault: At 5:30 pm a man was arrested for assault on the 700 block of Outlet Collection Drive Southwest.

June 28

Assault: A physical domestic violence was reported at the 4700 block of Auburn Way North at 10:20 p.m. there is no indication Auburn police made an arrest in relation to this incident.

Robbery: A robbery with a firearm occurred on the 100 block of Auburn Way South at 6:40 p.m. There is no indication Auburn police made an arrest in relation to this incident.

Fraud: At 11:41 a.m. a fraud was reported on the 1600 block of Auburn Way North.

June 29

Drugs: Auburn police arrested a man for a warrant on the 200 block of East Main Street and was charged for “drug loitering” at 7:14 a.m.

Trespassing: A man was arrested for trespassing on the 500 block of 29th Street Southeast at 5 p.m.

Assault: At 7:50 p.m. a man was assaulted on the 31900 block of 124th Ave Southeast, there is no indication Auburn police made an arrest in relation to this crime.

June 30

Vehicle theft: A Ford was stolen from the Muckleshoot Casino at 3:30 p.m.

Assault: Auburn police documented an assault on the 300 block of N Street Northeast at 12:10 p.m. There is no indication Auburn police made an arrest in relation to this crime.

Burglary: A residential burglary was reported at 1:04 p.m.

July 1

Fraud: Someone used counterfeit money to have a pizza delivered at 2 p.m. on Auburn Way South.

Fraud: Auburn police documented a credit card skimming device that was installed on a cash register at Walmart at 6:40 p.m.

Assault: A man was arrested for domestic violence assault on F Street Southeast at 10 p.m.

July 2

Assault: A second-degree domestic violence assault occurred on the 1200 block of A Street Northeast at 12:56 a.m. There is no indication an arrest was made in connection to this crime.

Catalytic converter: Theft of a catalytic converter was reported on the 2100 block of F Street Southeast at 9 a.m.

July 3

Theft: The theft of a purse was reported on the 2400 block of Auburn Way South at 11:12 a.m. There is no indication Auburn police made an arrest in relation to this crime.

Shoplifting: A man was arrested at 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW for shoplifting at 11:30 a.m.

Vandalism: Someone shot a window, breaking it on the 31000 block of 133rd Avenue Southeast at 12:39 p.m.

July 4

Trespassing: Auburn police arrested a woman for trespassing on the 1600 block of 22nd Street Southeast at 7 a.m.

Assault: A woman was arrested for felony assault with a weapon on the 32000 block of 105th Place Southeast at 4:40 p.m.

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI after a collision on the 300 block of 15th Street Northwest at 12:48 a.m.

July 5

Trespass: a man was arrested for trespassing on the 200 block of East Main Street

Theft: Young adults stole the Haggen’s mascot cow worth $1,500 from the display truck in front of the store on Lake Tapps Parkway Southeast, then posted a video on social media of them blowing the cow up.

Burglary: Two people burglarized KFG Motorsports on C Street Northwest and stole 2 motorcycles between 1 and 2 a.m.
