Lee James “Jim” Webb

Lee James “Jim” Webb was born February 1, 1926 in Belfry, MT. He passed away at the age of 90, surrounded by loved ones, on July 17, 2016 in Auburn, WA.

Jim graduated from Belfry High School in 1944 and enlisted in the US Navy serving during WWII in the South Pacific as a Seaman First Class.

Jim married Betty Coles on October 7, 1946 in Billings, MT and in 1965 they made final residence in Auburn, WA with their 9 children.

In 1951, Jim began his career at Boeing as a riveter, working his way up to manager of tool storage. After 22 years at Boeing, he started work at Smith Bros Farm as a farmhand while also starting his own cattle business “Webb’s Beef” on his farm in Auburn, WA.

Jim will be reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Betty Webb; parents Fannie and William “John” Webb; brothers Andrew Webb and Bill Webb; sisters Joyce Sundberg and Ada Branstetter; son Michael James Webb and grandson Ian Michael Webb.

Survived in death by brothers Elmer Webb and Dean Webb; sister Gee Gee Kuch; sons Joe (May Ann) Webb of Puyallup, WA Tim Webb of Auburn, WA Jon (Becky) Webb of Kent, WA; daughters Judy Rice of Puyallup, WA Carol Brittner of Auburn, WA Sheila Fansler of Fife, WA Nancy (Tom) Church of Auburn, WA Marybeth (Don) Pounder of Pacific, WA; daughter-in-law Tara Wetmore of Kent, WA; 25 grandchildren and one on the way; 26 great grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren with one more to come; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 24, 2016, 5 to 8 P.M. at Price Helton Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at Price Helton at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, WA on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Burial in Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery in Federal Way, WA.
