Leighton M. “Mac” Bayless

Leighton M. “Mac” Bayless, 80, of Auburn, WA passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011.Mac attended Kitsap High School in Port Orchard and served proudly in the military for over 37 years, which included time during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from Boeing with over 30 years of loyalty. Together, Mac and Ann spent many wonderful years snow-birding in Hemet, CA. Mac was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, daughter Deborah Durham, grandson Jeffrey Durham and stepson Brian Larson. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ann Bayless of Auburn, WA; sister Marlene Bryce of Lynwood, WA; son Jeff Bayless of Everett, WA; step-daughter Deborah (Scott) Ollard of Renton, WA; stepsons Bruce (Maura) Larson of Covington, WA and Rob Larson (Michele) of Tukwila, WA; Brent (Astrid) Larson of Fairbanks, AK along with numerous grand and great-grand children.The memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 11 a.m. at Edline & Yahn Covington Funeral Chapel in Kent, WA, followed by the interment service at Tahoma National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
