LeRoy Ludwig Bruns

LeRoy Ludwig Bruns was born November 24, 1915 in Clinton, Nebraska and passed away October 29, 2010 in Auburn, Washington. He married Helen Koresky on November 27, 1941 in Gordon, Nebraska. During WWII, LeRoy served in the U.S. Army at Fort Robertson, Nebraska. They moved to Auburn in 1945 where he built their home. He was a very skilled cabinet maker for many years. LeRoy enjoyed woodworking, painting, hunting, and farming. He is survived by his wife Helen of 68 years, children: Bonnie (Dave) Vincent, Gene (Jill) Bruns, Joyce Bruns, and Dave (Kari) Bruns. LeRoy is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother. A memorial service will be held for LeRoy, 1:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 100 N. Street SE Auburn, WA.
