Auburn Mountainview girls finish third at Kent-Meridian Invitational, set four school records | Girls Track and Field

The Auburn Mountainview girls track and field team grabbed third place overall at last Saturday’s Kent-Meridian Invitational, scoring 65 points and finishing behind first-place Tahoma, 138 points, and Kent-Meridian, 68.5 points.

Senior Alexi Morton led the charge with a school record 17-feet, 8-inch long jump. Morton also was second in the 100-meter dash with a 12.58 time.

In the high jump, junior Natasha Davis was tied for second with a 5-0 jump, which broke the previous record held by Davis.

The school’s 4×200 relay team, including Erica Lombardo, Alayna Wagers, Whitney Echols and Morton, also set a school record, finishing second at the meet with a 1:47.33 time.

Morton and Lombardo also were part of the Auburn Mountainview 4×100 team, including Abi Alfrey and Kristina Garasimachuk, which broke the invite record with a 51.14 second time.

Lombardo also broke the school’s 200-meter record with a 26.50 time.
