Auburn Riverside boys basketball falls to Rogers 78-76 in overtime

Mitch Hagerty’s team-high 20 points were not enough to extend the season for the Auburn Riverside (11-12) boys basketball team this past Saturday. Playing in a loser-out West Central District III contest, the Ravens fell 78-76 to Rogers of Puyallup (15-8) in overtime.

Up 48-42 at the end of three quarters, Auburn Riverside let Rogers put up 27 points in the final frame to tie it up 69-69 at the end of regulation. Rogers outscored the Ravens 9-7 in the overtime period.

Ryan McIntosh led the Rams with a game-high 39 points.

Dustin Hegge had 19 points for the Ravens with Ryan Rogers adding 12 points.
