Raven goalkeeper Gina Cardenas will play soccer at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey next season.

Cardenas finished up her prep career this fall with a total of 19 career shutouts and was selected to first-team all-area, all-league and all-state teams her senior year.

“We think Gina reads the game well and makes good decisions on and off her line,” Saints coach Rob Walker said. “Gina has very good technique with her feet and is comfortable playing the ball long and short. This is a skill that will be well-suited for the demands of the college game.”

The Saints are looking to improve on their 8-4 Great Northwest Athletic Conference record that saw them finish in third place last season.
