Its Allabout Jerry, last on the backstretch, rallied through the lane for a 1¼-length victory Saturday in the $25,000 allowance feature for 3-year-old colts and geldings at Emerald Downs.

Ridden by Leonel Camacho-Flores, Its Allabout Jerry ran one mile in 1:37.50 and paid $14, $6.20 and $3. Rigoberto Velasquez is the winning trainer and co-owner with Lisa Baze.

An Oregon-bred by 1996 Kentucky Derby winner Grindstone, Its Allabout Jerry is on a roll this season, compiling a 3-2-1 record in seven starts at the meet with earnings of $40,833, including $13,750 for Saturday’s triumph. His record in one-mile races is 2-1-0 in three starts.

Dedicated to You, a 13-to-1 long shot ridden by Javier Matias, rallied for second and paid $12 and $4.60.

Kaabraaj, bidding for his third straight win, forged to the lead on the last turn and opened a three-length advantage into the stretch, but weakened late and finished third. Ridden by Juan Gutierrez, Kaabraaj paid $3 to show.

Bolshoi’s Bluff, Raspberry Road and Daytona Beach completed the order of finish.

Daytona Beach, the 2-to-1 favorite, and Kaabraaj dueled through fractions of :22.83, :45.69 and 1:10.10, a scenario that unfolded nicely for Its Allabout Jerry, content to save ground and lag in last place. Camacho-Flores asked his colt for run into the lane, and Its Allabout Jerry responded with a steady rally to collar the leaders in the final sixteenth.
