Ravens top Bethel 11-3, Lions blank Lakes 4-0 | Baseball

The Auburn Riverside Ravens continued to savage South Puget Sound League South 4A teams this Thursday with an 11-3 nonleague beat down of the Braves at Bethel.

Michael Sherwin led the team offensively with three runs and two hits, including a solo home run.

Ryan Haven scored two runs on 2-of-4 hitting with sophomore Nick Minteer adding 3-of-5 hitting from the dish.

The Ravens will travel to Emerald Ridge for a 4 p.m. contest today, Friday, and will host Tahoma for their SPSL North 4A opener this Tuesday.

ELSEWHERE: Auburn Mountainview’s Steven Johnson threw a two-hit complete game shutout against Lakes this Thursday, striking out nine Lancer batters to earn the 4-0 win. Ryan Anderson had two RBIs in the game on 2-of-3 hitting, with Brandon Williams adding a double. The Lions will host Franklin Pierce at 6 p.m., tonight Friday at Auburn Mountainview High School.
