Riverside hammers Royals 16-3, Auburn blanked 7-0 by Kentridge | Baseball

The Trojans fell to 0-4 in the South Puget Sound League North 4A on Tuesday with a 7-0 loss at Kentridge.

Justin Burns was 2-of-3 from the dish. Justin Bidon was tagged with the loss, giving up four earned runs on four hits in four innings pitched.

Jason Didis had two doubles and a pair of RBIs and Hayden Njos was 3-of-3 from the plate with two RBIs, for the Chargers (3-3 league, 6-3 overall). matt Jackson earned the win with six innings of work, giving up three hits and striking out four.

The Trojans (2-4 overall) will travel to Kentwood to take on the SPSL North 4A leading Conks (5-0, 5-0) at 4 p.m. tomorrow.

ELSEWHERE: Senior RJ Gius and junior Ryan Haven each had home runs for Auburn Riverside (3-3, 5-5) as the Ravens put away Kent-Meridian (0-6, 2-6) 16-3 on Monday. John Hakala earned the win on the mound. Riverside will travel to Kentlake (4-1, 7-1) at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
