Tickets for the 24th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways on Aug. 5-7 are now available. The 14th stop on the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will bring the stars of the sport to the legendary Kent track for their only Northwest appearance.

Tickets can be purchased either for reserved seating or general admission and are available from the NHRA online at www.nhratix.com or by calling 800-884-NHRA. Motorhome parking and Courtside Club seating can be purchased exclusively through Pacific Raceways by calling 253-639-5927.

This year’s event at Pacific Raceways will be the last of three races, which comprise the grueling “Western swing” of three races on three consecutive weekends: Denver; Sonoma, Calif.; and Kent. In previous years, the Pacific Raceways event has been the middle race in the swing.

The also will mark the 60th anniversary of the NHRA and include special features commemorating the sanctioning body’s milestone.

Last year’s Pro winners included Cory McClenathan (Top Fuel), Tim Wilkerson (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock).

Cory Mac defeated Antron Brown to collect his 34th Top Fuel victory in last year’s Top Fuel final at Kent. McClenathan (1993) and Brown (2009) are among the few pros who have swept all three Western swing races.
