Ty Hall returns to Tacoma Stars

The Kent-based Tacoma Stars acquired forward Ty Hall as part of a trade with the Harrisburg Heat.

Full details of the trade will be announced later, the Tacoma Stars said in a media release on Monday.

Hall, 27, returns to Tacoma after logging time in 16 matches with the Stars during the 2015-16 Major Arena Soccer League season. The Baltimore, Maryland native tallied nine points on five goals and four assists while adding three blocks last year.

“We are looking forward to having Ty Hall back in a Tacoma Stars uniform,” Stars coach and general manager Darren Sawatzky said in the media release. “Ty was an important member of our team during the 2015-16 season, and we are lucky to have him return to work with the guys that have started this year strong.”

Hall opened this season playing one match for Harrisburg, contributing one goal. He split his time collegiately between Limestone College and Radford University, where he played winger and forward. In addition to years of professional indoor experience, Hall competed internationally for Sporting Kristina in Finland in 2014.

He will wear No. 21 for the Stars.

Hall and the Stars are on the road for a match against the San Diego Sockers at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, the third match of a four-game road trip for Tacoma.
