WHL championship series to be televised

Thunderbirds-Pats matchup opens Friday in Regina

The Seattle Thunderbirds and Tribune Broadcasting Seattle have joined to broadcast the Seattle Thunderbirds vs. Regina Pats Western Hockey League championship series presented by Rogers. The television coverage partnership was announced Wednesday.

This TV can be seen over the air locally on Channel 13.2 and on Comcast Cable Channel 357. JOEtv can be seen over the air locally on Channel 22 and on Comcast Cable Channel 110.

Games 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the series will be broadcast on This TV. Game 2 will be broadcast on JOEtv.

Game 1 is 6 p.m. Friday at the Brandt Centre, and Game 2 is 6 p.m. Saturday, also in Regina.

The Thunderbirds host Games 3, 4 and, if necessary, 5 at the ShoWare Center next week.

TICKETS

Single-game tickets for Games 3 and 4 are on sale online and at the ShoWare Center box office. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday game days.

Game 3 is a Directors Mortgage 2-for-Tuesday game, featuring two-for-one tickets in all price levels and $2 concession specials on beer, hot dogs, popcorn and soda.

Game 4 is a White Out Wednesday game. Wear your favorite white T-Birds jersey or T-shirt.
