Auburn, Lions of Zone C-3 to hold Youth with Special Needs Fishing Derby on April 27

The City of Auburn and the Lions of Zone C-3 are sponsoring the ninth annual Youth with Special Needs Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27 at Mill Pond Park, 600 Oravetz Road, Auburn. It is a free event.

The City of Auburn and the Lions of Zone C-3 are sponsoring the ninth annual Youth with Special Needs Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Mill Pond Park, 600 Oravetz Road, Auburn.

It is a free event.

Primary participants must be pre-school and school-age special needs youth accompanied and supervised by an adult. Siblings and friends are welcome.

A limited amount of fishing rods and bait will be available. Free expert fishing lessons will be available.

Zone C-3 includes Lions from Auburn, Bonney Lake, Covington, Enumclaw, Kent, Federal Way, Fife, Kent, Puyallup, Sumner and Pacific.
