Aggravated assault

Auburn police responded on Jan. 1 after receiving a report at approximately 1:01 a.m. regarding a weapons offense. According to the department’s public information log, an aggravated assault occurred in the 29500 block of 55th Avenue South in addition to a weapons offense. Auburn police arrested one man in the incident, booking him on a charge of assault in the second degree and citing him for reckless endangerment. The incident included one suspect and one victim. Police collected multiple firearms as evidence in the incident.

Robbery involving firearms

Auburn police responded on Dec. 31 after receiving a report at approximately 8:43 p.m. regarding a robbery involving firearms on J Street Southeast and East Main Street. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested two minors in the incident for robbery. The department booked both minors on a charge of robbery in the first degree. The incident involved one victim.

Strangulation

Auburn police responded on Jan. 1 after receiving a report at approximately 12:35 a.m. regarding an aggravated assault at the Muckleshoot Casino in the 2400 block of Auburn Way South. According to the department’s public information log, Auburn police arrested a man near the 2400 block of Auburn Way South for a domestic violence incident. Police booked the man on a charge of assault in the second degree for strangulation. The incident involved one suspect and one victim.

Indecent exposure

Auburn police responded on Dec. 30 after receiving a report at approximately 11:27 a.m. regarding a sex offense in the 1100 block of Outlet Collection Way Southwest. According to the department’s public information log, a lewd act occurred involving indecent exposure. The department’s log listed one unidentified suspect in the incident and one victim.
