Sept. 30

Burglary: Overnight, 1200 block of 25th Street Southeast. Somebody broke into another person’s backyard shed. Steal anything? Police didn’t say.

Theft: 7:30 a.m., 3502 Auburn Way S. Thieves damaged two vehicles peaceably parked on the north side of Chinook Elementary School and stole personal property from them.

Shoplifting: 2:40 p.m., 13333 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police arrested a female human being for trying to walk off with shoes from Sports Authority.

Theft: 5:30 a.m., 31600 block of 104th Avenue Southeast. Someone entered a man’s back yard and stole a television he had mounted on the back of his house.

Oct. 1

Marijuana: 12 p.m., 30600 116th Avenue SE. A staff member at Rainier Middle School told police that a student had pot at school.

Theft: 4:45 p.m., 3500 block of Scenic Drive Southeast. A boat on a trailer was stolen. The motors were discovered at a home in King County and the boat and trailer were found on a road in King County.

Oct. 2

Disorderly conduct: 10 a.m., 200 E. Main St. Police arrested a man for some sort of conduct undisclosed, which, mysteriously, turned out to be something other than orderly.

Theft: 10:38 a.m., 2326 Riverwalk Drive SE. A Muckleshoot Tribe employee allegedly stole more than $750 from the Muckleshoot Child Development Center.

Theft: 8:44 p.m., 1320 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police arrested a female employee of Nordstrom Rack for allegedly having stolen several thousand dollars worth of undisclosed merchandise over a one-month period.

Vandalism: 6:18 p.m., 520 block of 37th Street Southeast. A male and a female in a dating relationship each blamed the other for the breakage of a TV. Police have forwarded the case to the City prosecutor.

Oct. 3

Assault with a knife: 10:57 a.m., 528 4th St. SE. While an argument was raging between a man and his roommate, the roommate kicked the man, grabbed a large knife and advanced toward the victim but dropped the knife and ran from the apartment. Police found the roommate a block away and busted him.

Arson: 4:26 p.m., 3610 I St. SE. A man called 911 to report a flower pot ablaze.
