Nov. 1

Theft from motor vehicle: Midnight, 4422 C St. NE. Between Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, somebody, or several somebodies, broke into two vehicles belonging to Sylvania Lighting. Police did not disclose whether the bad guys actually stole anything.

Shoplifting: 4:30 p.m., 1200 Supermall Way SW. Store security caught a female — girl, teen or woman, police didn’t say — shoplifting several undisclosed items of undisclosed value from the new Walmart.

Fraud: 9:30 a.m., 31400 55th Ave. S. A woman told police that somebody had tried to use her home line of credit to steal $6,000. The unknown suspect used the Internet and enjoyed full access to her passwords and information.

Auto theft: 4:18 a.m., 1400 8th St. NE. Awakening to his vehicle alarm sounding, a man left his apartment only to watch his 1995 Nissan Pathfinder drive away without him in it.

Oct. 31

Theft: Overnight, 31100 block of 116th Ave. SE. Not only did the thief steal a bike, he or she also swiped tools from an unlocked shed. Police did not disclose a value for any of the missing items.

Shoplifting: 2:04 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a man for shoplifting articles of men’s clothing — socks or shoes, boxers or briefs, police didn’t say — from an undisclosed store at the Supermall.

Theft: 3:59 p.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. A male checked out a laptop at the Auburn Library and didn’t return it.

Trespassing: 8:50 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. An order to show neither hide nor hair of herself at the Muckleshoot Casino again apparently failed to impress one woman because she showed both again and got herself arrested.

Burglary: 10:30 p.m., 2707 block of West Valley Highway North. Somebody pried open the north door of an undisclosed business, crept in and possibly swiped a computer.

Theft from motor vehicle: 3:30 p.m., 601 Oravetz Road. An Auburn resident told police that somebody broke into her car at Roegner Park and stole her purse. Police did disclose a value of the loss.

Oct. 28

Theft from motor vehicle: 6:25 a.m., 3648 Auburn Way N. Somebody broke into a vehicle in an AM/PM parking lot and pocketed various undisclosed items of undisclosed value.

Vandalism: 8:02 a.m., 2300 block of I Street Northeast. Police arrested a woman for maliciously breaking a coffee table jointly owned by herself and her husband.

Cops helping cops: 9:07 a.m., 808 9th St. SE. Police talked to a transient about barfing in the Auburn Senior Activity Center parking lot but ended up arresting him on an outside agency warrant.

Oct. 26

Bike theft: Overnight, 2200 block of O Place Northeast. Somebody stole a bike parked near its owner’s front patio. Police did not disclose a value.

Flower filcher: 2:27 p.m., 4400 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody stole flowers from a flower pot in front of an undisclosed business.

Prowl: 4:20 p.m., 12100 block of Southeast 303rd Court. An Auburn resident reported that someone had opened and gone through a vehicle belonging to his or her step-parent.

Trespassing: 10:19 p.m., 1347 Auburn Way N. A man made such a colossal pain in the head of himself at Albertson’s that management told him to get out and stay out.
