Oct. 10

Vandalism: 4:25 p.m., 1424 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a boy for damaging an Auburn Youth Resources group home in some undisclosed way. Police did not disclose the cost of the damage.

Vandalism: Overnight, 316400 110th Place Southeast. A vandal got into the inside of a pickup truck, damaging the stereo but taking nothing.

Theft: 7:30 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man and a woman for stealing a wallet at the Muckleshoot Casino. Police did not disclose a value for the loss.

Cops helping cops: 9:48 p.m., 523 Wells Ave. N. A man fled police for some wrongdoing in Renton, but one of the Auburn Police Department’s finest canines lent his gifted nose to the pursuit and sniffed the bad guy out of his hiding hole.

Oct. 11

Theft: 8 a.m., 2100 block of 1st Street Northeast. A man told police that someone had broken into his unlocked truck and stolen his grandson’s backpack stuffed with miscellaneous school books. Police said nothing about the value of the missing items.

Theft: 9:09 a.m., 1101 D St. NE. Somebody stole $35 dollars from a work locker.

Auto theft: 11:30 a.m., 15 S. Division St. After leaving his or her keys in the center console of an unattended car for several hours, the owner was shocked upon returning to find no car. Police did not disclose the value of the missing car.

Vandalism: 2:37 p.m., 5000 block of South 314th Street. Somebody keyed a vehicle door. Police did not put a price tag on the damage.

Theft: 4:16 p.m., 12722 SE 312th Street. Police arrested a girl, a confirmed runaway, for swiping candy.

Threatening: 1:15 p.m., 12400 block of Southeast 320th Street. A woman told police that some guy she doesn’t know had been stalking her since Sept. 14. On Oct. 11, the woman reported that another guy she didn’t know approached her at Green River Community College and said that he and the stalker were going to rape her. He then fled on foot.

Trespassing: 6:16 p.m., 4100 block of A Street Southeast. A woman made such a towering pain in the head of herself that the White River Shopping Center told her to get out and stay out.

Theft of pistol: 6:40 a.m., 12600 Southeast block 317th Street. Somebody stole a pistol from a truck. Police did not disclose a value for the missing pistol.

Theft of property: Overnight, 31900 block of 104th Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole a bag containing soccer equipment from a vehicle.
