Assault with a weapon

Auburn police were dispatched on July 27 after receiving a report at 5:47 p.m. of an assault with a weapon. According to the department’s public information log, a man was assaulted near the 1900 block of A Street Southeast. According to the log, police declared a baseball bat as evidence in the incident.

Auto-theft turned shooting

Auburn police arrested three men in an auto theft and shooting incident on July 21. Auburn police were dispatched to the incident after receiving a report at approximately 11:18 a.m. According to the public information log, an interrupted auto theft resulted in a shooting in the 3500 block of Pacific Avenue South. The shooting resulted in no injuries, according to the public information log. The incident involved three victims. Police declared a single pistol as evidence in the incident.

Felony assault
