Coordinated Community Response Against Domestic Violence (CCRADV) offers an additional Domestic Violence Impact Panel gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Federal Way Courthouse, 33325 Eighth Ave. S.
It opens at 1 p.m., and the panel discussion running from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. It is open and free to the public.
The panel is for people who are “court ordered” to attend. If successful, CCRADV may do it quarterly on a Saturday.
A panel is where survivors of violence come and tell their story of how someone in their family was killed due to domestic violence and how they and their family and friends are impacted.
The CCRADV is an all-volunteer, nonprofit agency with all proceeds from the panel discussions returned directly to survivors of domestic violence to assist them with items such as moving, rent, utilities, emergency phones and transportation.
Panel discussions are held monthly on the third Thursday at the Auburn Courthouse, 340 E. Main St., and every other fourth Wednesday in Federal Way from 6:30-9 p.m.
In October, Domestic Violence Month, the impact panel will be available for the community and the public at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 12, at the Federal Way Courthouse.
