The public is invited to attend a special Memorial Day ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday in the flag plaza at Mountain View Cemetery, 2020 Mountain View Drive, Auburn.

The cemetery is offering special office hours during the Memorial Day weekend to help families. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday; from noon-4:30 p.m. on Sunday; and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30.

The cemetery will display many American flags on the grounds, and each veteran’s gravesite is decorated with a small flag.

Auburn’s VFW Post 1741 is donating small American flags.
