Police blotter | Nov. 27

Auburn police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Nov. 18 and Nov. 23:

Nov. 18

Vandalism: 11:30 a.m., 1425 Supermall Way SW. Somebody keyed a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police did not disclose the damages.

Theft: 12:24 p.m., 1231 Auburn Way N. Somebody pried open a register at Rite Aid and stole the money inside. How much? Police didn’t say.

Shoplifting: 4:12 p.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a male – kid, young man, old dude, police didn’t say – for shoplifting who knows what from TOP Foods.

Theft from vehicle: 7:59 p.m., 2200 block of 12th Court Northwest. Somebody stole cigarettes and a GPS from a vehicle.

Theft from motor vehicle: 10:30 a.m., 900 block of W Place Northwest. An Auburn resident reported the theft of a helmet, snow pants and a knife from a vehicle. No value was given.

Theft: 5:05 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Somebody stole a wallet, a watch and a passport from an apartment. No value was given.

Nov. 21

Burglary: Overnight, 1000 block of 1st Street Northeast. An Auburn citizen, gender not disclosed, reported that somebody unknown broke into his or her garage and stole numerous tools. No value was given.

Nov. 22

Trespassing: 6:04 p.m., 1300 block of Ginkgo Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for trespassing and obstructing an officer after the man snuck into the crawl space of his former foster father’s home and refused to leave. Police also charged the man with possessing drug paraphernalia.

Theft: 11:03 p.m., 1800 block of 19th Drive Northeast. Police arrested a man for theft and forgery after he swiped his mother-in-law’s credit card and bought booze with it. The woman decided not to pursue criminal charges.

Assault with aggravated injury: 5 p.m., 30900 block of 124th Avenue Southeast. A man reported that somebody he didn’t know assaulted him at Lea Hill Elementary School. One of the bad guy’s friends also tried to take some of the victim’s belongings by force.
