School PTAs organize benefit Cats and Dogs Fun Run on Saturday

The Lakeland Hills Elementary and Mt. Baker Middle School PTSAs present the first annual Cats and Dogs 1K/5K Fun Run at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Roegner Park, 601 Oravetz Road.

Two Auburn schools are coming together to support a fun run and raise money for their programs.

The Lakeland Hills Elementary and Mt. Baker Middle School PTSAs present the first annual Cats and Dogs 1K/5K Fun Run at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Roegner Park, 601 Oravetz Road.

A bake sale and raffle will follow the run/walk. All proceeds benefit both schools, helping to underwrite a broad range of programs.

Seahawks mascot Blitz will be on hand for the start of the run.

Cost is $15 per person or $50 for a family of four.
