May 23

Aid call: 11:31 a.m., (Lea Hill). After firefighters treated a man suffering from abdominal pain, a private ambulance transported him in stable condition to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

May 24

Aid call: 5:59 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics hustling to help an unconscious, unresponsive patient found a man witnesses said had fallen from a standing position, sustaining severe trauma to his face. Firefighters helped him, and King County Medics transported him to ARMC for further evaluation.

May 25

Aid call: 3:09 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters helping a male complaining of knee pain from a sports injury examined and splinted the leg. A private ambulance transported the guy to ARMC for further evaluation.

May 26

CPR: 6:08 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helping a senior citizen who had been complaining of dizziness arrived and spoke to the man before he collapsed before their eyes. Firefighters and King County Medics provided care and medics transported the man to ARMC.

Car accident: 6:08 p.m., (Auburn). Valley Com dispatched firefighters to a two-vehicle accident on Auburn Way South, where they treated a man before transporting him to ARMC in stable condition.

Service call: 1:37 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responding to help a resident who had reported water leaking from his water meter determined that the leak was in the water line on the homeowner’s side of the meter. Firefighters instructed him on how to shut off the water to minimize further damage until the leak could be repaired.

May 29

Service call: 9:01 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a request from Pacific Police for a “washdown” of several mailboxes washed blood from the front of a large multiple user mailbox. Pacific PD investigated and found a badly broken bicycle, but no injured cyclist. Firefighters disinfected the mailbox and left the scene to Pacific Police.

Aid call: 1:02 p.m., (Auburn). Having treated a man for seizures, firefighters transported him to ARMC.
