Jan. 24

Aid call: 2:16 p.m., (Auburn). A pregnant woman at a south end grocery store fell unconscious, but she was alert when firefighters got there to help her, though with very low pressure. A private ambulance transported her to Auburn Regional Medical Center (ARMC) for evaluation.

Jan. 25

Motor vehicle accident: 5:45 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a single-vehicle accident on Ellingson Road found one car minus a front tire in the middle lane and the driver complaining of back pain. Firefighters treated the driver at the scene and then a private ambulance whisked him off to ARMC for treatment.

Jan. 26

Aid call: 9:07 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters helped a woman with leg pain and then a private ambulance drove her to ARMC.

Jan. 27

Motor vehicle accident: 7 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters hustling to a four-vehicle accident on Highway 18 at the Green River Bridge found two people in need of treatment. A private ambulance drove both of them to ARMC in stable condition.

Motor vehicle accident: 2:15 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a two-car accident on southbound Highway 167 found a young woman complaining of left shoulder pain. Firefighters examined her, but she refused further treatment.

Jan. 29

Service call: 7:08 a.m., (Lea Hill). A driver fell asleep at the wheel and drove into a fire hydrant in the 10400 block of Southeast 320th Street, shearing off the hydrant. Firefighters checked things out, called the water department and turned the scene over to the Auburn Police Department.

Jan. 30

Aid call: 9:17 a.m., (Lakeland Hills). A woman consumed about 16 ounces of isopropyl alcohol. Firefighters examined her and then a private ambulance transported her to ARMC.
