May 10

Service call: Noon, (Auburn). Firefighters spied a local disabled man whose wheelchair battery had died in front of Station 32. Firefighters pushed the man’s wheelchair several blocks to his apartment and helped get the battery charger hooked up.

May 11

Aid call: 8:27 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics responding to a possible CPR found someone suffering a seizure. After further help from firefighters and paramedics, a private ambulance transported the person to St. Francis Hospital.

Aid call: (Auburn). Firefighters responded for a man with extreme headaches, vomiting blood. King County Medic One evaluated the man, and firefighters transported him to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

May 13

Aid call: 9:50 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped a woman who had sustained injuries during a domestic assault. A private ambulance transported the woman to St. Francis Medical Center.

Service call: 6:46 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters helped a homeowner shut off his or her water at the meter where it was damaged, then the public utilities folks arrived to help.

Aid call: 10:25 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a man with facial injuries sustained when two would-be robbers attacked him. A private ambulance treated the man and carted him off to ARMC.

Motorcycle accident: 4 p.m., (Auburn). Valley Com dispatched firefighters to a man complaining of leg and arm pain stemming from injuries incurred while he was operating his motorcycle. Firefighters stabilized the man and transported him to ARMC.
