Irene Thaya Steen

Irene Thaya Steen, the daughter of Alfred and Florence Watson Stevens, was born January 10, 1915, near the town of Bristol, South Dakota. Irene grew up in the Bristol area, graduating from Bristol High School in 1935. Irene lived a number of places in South Dakota including Aberdeen, Webster, Bristol, Rapid City and Watertown. Mrs. Steen was a member of the Ninth Avenue United Methodist Church and XYZ Extra Years of Zest. Irene passed away on March 18, 2010 in Auburn, WA with her family by her side. Mrs. Steen was preceded in death her husband Oscar Jordanger. Surviving are a son Larry Jordanger of Auburn, WA; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Edith Bigelow of De Soto, Texas and a brother Rolland Stevens of Woodland, CA.
