James C. Taylor (JC)

Our beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a friend to many passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, November 19, 2010. Jim (JC to all of his friends) was born on April 10, 1930 in Bismarck, North Dakota, and moved to Auburn in 1947. Jim served in the Army for three years during the Korean War. After being discharged, he went back to worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad and Burlington Northern RR and retired in 1991. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was the consummate family man, his family always came first. Jim was a Master Mason and Nile Shriner. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Adelbert, brother John, and grandson Luke. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Lorain, mother Margaret, son Kirk, daughters Cora and Shari, great grandchildren, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4th at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn. Casual attire is encouraged. Internment at Tahoma National Cemetery will follow at a later date.
