Auburn Mountainview pounds Enumclaw 8-3 in SPSL 3A action | SPSL 3A Baseball

The Lions delivered No. 3 ranked Enumclaw their second defeat of the season on Friday, beating the Hornets 8-3 at Auburn Mountainview in South Puget Sound League 3A action.

The Lions (9-6 league, 11-9 overall) were led by Derek Stephen who had two hits – including a home run – and two RBIs.

Skyler White contributed two RBIs and a double.

On the mound ace Stephen Johnson notched nine strikeouts in a complete game victory.

Enumclaw’s (10-2, 14-2) Levi Goodin was tagged with the loss.

Auburn Mountainview finishes the season second in the South Puget Sound League 3A and will play in the SPSL 3A tourney this week for seeding into the West Central District III tournament which begins May 10.
