Feb. 11
Go-Kart thievery: 9 p.m., 500 block of F Street Southeast. Somebody stole a Murray Explorer Go-Kart of undisclosed value from a residential yard.

Feb. 16
Shoplifting: 2:20 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Three thieves stole four $99 fishing reels from an undisclosed store at the SuperMall. Officers told the store’s loss prevention officers that the suspects had swiped several additional fishing reels from other stores earlier that day.
Theft: 2:08 p.m., 2900 Auburn Way S. What started out as a road-rage incident escalated to the boiling point when one enraged person reached into the other guy’s car, snatched up his keys and pitched them into some nearby bushes while the fellow was stopped at a red light.

Feb. 17
Theft: Overnight, 1900 block of F Street Southeast. Somebody stole a stereo of undisclosed value from a vehicle.

Feb. 18
Theft: 1:25 p.m., 1509 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a kid for shoplifting two packs of cigarettes from an undisclosed store in the 1500 block of Auburn Way South.
Vandalism: 10:25 p.m., 2000 block of F Street Southeast. Police arrested a female of undisclosed age for an undisclosed act of malicious mischief-domestic violence resulting in undisclosed damages.
DUI alcohol or drugs: 11:35 p.m., 500 block of Aaby Drive Northwest. Police arrested a female driver — young, old, somewhere in the middle, police didn’t say — for DUI/alcohol after she left the roadway and struck a tree in somebody’s front yard. Said female fled the scene on foot but police caught up with her and arrested her shortly afterward at her home.

Feb. 19
Shoplifting: 9:01 p.m., 1057 Supermall Way SW.  Police arrested a woman and booked her into the South SCORE jail for felony shoplifting from yet another of those undisclosed local businesses. Loss prevention officers spotted the thief using a pry tool to remove security devices from merchandise and then concealing them in her purse.

Feb. 20
Burglary: 1:18 a.m., 2101 R St. NW. Somebody burglarized another undisclosed business, smashing the front glass door to enter the business. Police did not disclose whether the intruder actually took anything.

Feb. 21
Theft from motor vehicle: 5:13 p.m., 101 Auburn Way South. A man unknown broke into another man’s truck and stole a Toshiba laptop valued at about $700. According to the victim’s mother in law, he said something roughly equivalent to “I will allow the thief’s posterior to remain unthrashed if he returns the laptop.”
Shoplifting: 6:06 p.m., 1302 8th St. NE. Police arrested a woman for stealing a 24-ounce can of “Old English” beer from 7-Eleven.
Vandalism: 9:15 p.m., 12722 S.E. 312th St. Police arrested a man for punching four holes in a bedroom door at his former girlfriend’s apartment.
