Nov. 3

Felony eluding: 6:08 a.m., 2200 Auburn Way N. Suspects in a vehicle prowl lead police on a lengthy pursuit. Police caught the driver, but not the passenger. Police found several car stereos and other stolen items inside the vehicle, an unreported stolen out of Auburn.

Nov. 7

Burglary: 7:30 a.m., 140 15th St. NE. Arby’s Restaurant employees told police someone broke into the business, damaging a front window as they did so. The burglar took nothing.

Theft from motor vehicle: Overnight, 1900 block of 21st Street Northeast. A man told police that someone entered his truck and stole two speakers, an amplifier and a capacitor but did not damage the vehicle.

Vandalism: 4:59 p.m., 2104 I St. NE. A man damaged a Maytag dryer by trying to pry the coin box off.

Nov. 8

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 4912 D St. NE. Somebody broke into Cuddy’s Taxi and walked out with a drop box containing about $1,000 in cash.

Burglary: 8:30 a.m., 935 W. Main St. Somebody entered Ferrellgas and swiped new and used brass fittings. Paw prints on the shop floor showed that the burglar had a canine sidekick with him or her while doing the burgling.

Shoplifting: 8:45 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Police arrested a man for shoplifting something or other from Safeway. Police chose not to disclose what the man actually stole or its value.

Theft: 5 p.m., 102 15th St. NE. A guest of the Cedars Inn swiped some bedding.

Theft: 2 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Burlington Coat Factory security caught an employee stealing cash from her cash registers, whereupon police arrested her and management fired her.

Theft: 5:28 p.m., 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. Somebody took items from the back seat of an unlocked vehicle parked in front of the entrance to Top Foods.

Nov. 9

Warrant: 1 a.m., 2901 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a wayward youth for a confirmed Auburn warrant for resisting arrest and for being in possession of a tasty, fermented beverage before achieving the required years.
